Weekend Plans: Outset Design’s Mid-Century Showcase
A carefully curated drop of 30-plus mid-century pieces have been handpicked by the design enthusiasts at Outset Design & Outset Gallery, beautifully restored and ready for display in your home. Expect to spot iconic pieces of the era such as sleek sideboards, trolleys to toast and one-of-a-kind dining sets in warm walnut and teak.
Perfect pairings
Galway interior designer Lynne O’Loughlin (@lynneoloughlindesign) has excellently styled the spaces, combining these mid-cent finds with contemporary prints, paintings and accessories from the gallery collection including plants, handcrafted ceramics and rugs from locals Carpet and Rug Centre (@carpetandrugcentregalway).
The running order
These free events are a two day affair, kicking off on Saturday 10th May, 10am-5.30pm and open again on Sunday 11th May, 11am-4pm. Browse the unique collection with a complementary glass of Prosecco and party atmosphere care of local DJ Mattie Cahill (@blue.detroit.tr8) at the Cornstore street gallery and framers.
