From their little girl's show-stealing performance to an impromptu first dance, Laura and Declan's celebration was full of heart.

Laura and Declan first crossed paths at a basketball tournament when they were just 11 years old. “It wasn’t exactly love at first sight, but there was definitely something special and the way I felt around him was unforgettable,” Laura recalls. Years of notes in lockers and texts throughout the night forged an undeniable connection that proved the two were meant to be.

When it came to planning the nuptials, the pair envisioned a warm, romantic celebration filled with love and simple elegance. Already dreaming of a destination wedding in sunny Spain, located on a vineyard and surrounded by hills, Cortijo Bravo provided the perfect venue. Soft pastel hues, lush blooms and sweet DIY touches added charm and personality to the tranquil setting.

Highlights included a heart-warming poem written by bridesmaid Hannah on the couple’s journey so far, a spontaneous first dance under the ceremonial arch and the couple’s daughter Lucy stealing the show by recreating the famous Dirty Dancing lift.

Reflecting on the experience, Laura’s advice for other couples is not to sweat if things don’t go as planned. “It’s the love, laughs and happiness that you’re going to remember so just focus on the memories you will be creating.
