This Viral Dating Event Is Coming To Galway
One for the braver among us, it gives you the chance to present your single friend to a crowd – and show off exactly why they're such an eligible romantic partner.
From the people behind Alternative Dublin, the event is designed for singles aged 21-35 and their friends to get together and have a laugh while breathing some life into what can feel like a jaded dating scene.
Friends are asked to make creative presentations that pitch their pals and highlight all of the wonderful (and weird) things about them, whether that's their sense of humour, style of clothes or questionable dance moves – it's up to you to decide.
The Dublin events saw a multitude of colourful presentations with detailed statistics, varying starred reviews from peers and lists of their green flags. There's also live matchmaking, drinks and prizes (and a potential date if you're lucky!)
How it works
You buy a ticket, fill in their online form and if you're selected, you'll get up to four minutes to pitch your friend (or yourself, if you dare!) to a live audience. You'll get to enjoy a number of other presentations too, and maybe even connect with someone you like the look of.
